Continuing on, you'll come across Lake Lagarfljot, the third-largest lake in the country and a popular tourist attraction. Legend has it that the lake is home to a mythical creature called the Lagarfljotsormur, a giant serpent that has been reportedly sighted since the 13th century, adding a touch of mystique to the area.

For an even more exhilarating experience, choose from two incredible activities for the day. The first is an optional horseback riding adventure in the Icelandic Wilderness.
