You’ll have the ability to traverse the rugged terrain of Iceland’s pristine backcountry with ease as you immerse yourself in a myriad of diverse and fascinating landscapes.
Your adventure begins at Gullfoss waterfall on Iceland’s famous Golden Circle. It is here that you will meet with your guide and the rest of the group, before departing on a super jeep to our snowmobile base camp at Langjökull. Along the way, you’ll pass by vast lava fields, large boulders left over by the retreat of the glaciers, as well as striated, rocky moraines. As you make the ascent towards Langjökull, your guide will give you a rundown of the area’s history, including the importance of Iceland’s glaciers and how they have changed over many thousands of years to the present time today.
Upon arrival at base camp, your guide will equip you with the necessary safety gear required for this tour, including a helmet, cover-alls, face mask and gloves. They’ll go over some safety procedures and teach you how to safely operate a snowmobile. Once everyone is ready, your guide will check that you are comfortable on your equipment before you head out on the adventure of a lifetime.

You must have a valid driver's license to drive the snowmobile and be at least 18 years of age. Each snowmobile seats two people. Children aged 6 and up are welcome to ride on the back.
