Your journey will commence in the charming capital city of Hanoi, where you will capture the energy and vibrancy of its bustling streets, markets, and historical landmarks. From there, you will travel to the breathtaking rural district of Mu Cang Chai, renowned for its stunning rice terrace fields and traditional Hmong villages. This will give you the opportunity to get to know the residents of the region and photograph their traditional lifestyle. Next, you'll visit Da Nang, a coastal city renowned for its stunning beaches, colorful night markets, and the physics-defying Dragon Bridge.
Finally, your journey will conclude in the ancient town of Hoi An, with its well-preserved Old Quarter, vibrant street life, and beautiful riverside scenery. Day 1 - Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
On September 23rd, you will arrive in the charming capital city of Hanoi, and a new adventure awaits. With visa-on-arrival now available for many countries and no quarantine necessary, you can conveniently choose from a range of airlines, such as Vietnam Airlines, VietJetAir, or Bamboo Airways, for your arrival. To make the most of your time and ensure a seamless start to your photo tour, aim to arrive between 8-9 AM local time. It's highly recommended to arrive a day earlier, on September 22nd, giving you chance to relax and acclimate.
We'll make sure to provide a hotel recommendation so you can stay at the same place. As the day progresses, prepare to immerse yourself in the energy of Hanoi as we begin our workshop by capturing the city's iconic landmarks and breathtaking vistas from its most renowned viewpoints. Get ready to create unforgettable memories and stunning images as we embark on our journey through the captivating beauty of Vietnam.

Day 2 - Day 2: Long Coc & Tu Le Valley
Early in the morning, we'll embark on a journey to the picturesque village of Long Coc, which is just a two-hour drive from Hanoi. Here, we'll have the opportunity to capture the beauty of the Long Coc tea hills, surrounded by lush green landscapes and rolling hills. After enjoying the beauty of this idyllic location, we'll travel for seven hours to reach the heart of the northwest region, the district of Mu Cang Chai.
Along the way, we'll make a stop at Tu Le valley, where you'll have the chance to capture the mesmerizing patterns of the terraced rice paddies on its rolling hills. As the sun sets, we'll arrive in Mu Cang Chai, where we'll spend the night in a cozy hotel surrounded by the serene beauty of the rural landscape.

Day 3 - Day 3: Mu Cang Chai & Bamboo Forest
We rise early on this day to catch the sunrise and head to the heart of the northwest region. Setting out at 4 AM, we’ll move to a parking area and transfer to a short bike trip to one of the most iconic vistas of Mu Cang Chai, the Mam Xoi viewpoint.
As the sun rises, we will capture the stunning beauty of Mu Cang Chai surrounded by lush green landscapes, rolling hills, and rice terraces that look like green and golden stairways. With your camera in hand, you'll be able to capture the dazzling views of Mu Cang Chai as the morning light casts a glow over the colorful hills below.
After capturing the sunrise, we'll take in the scenes of Mu Cang Chai until 8 AM, when we'll continue our journey. After this unforgettable experience, we'll head back to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast, feeling refreshed and reinvigorated for the next stage of our trip.
From there, we'll then travel to the home of the H'Mong people, where you'll have the opportunity to capture their traditional houses surrounded by fields of golden corn. As we engage with these friendly and welcoming people, you'll be able to capture their portraits and gain a deeper understanding of their unique culture and traditions. We'll spend the next two hours capturing the charm of this idyllic location before returning to the hotel for lunch (we did all that and it's only lunch!).
In the afternoon, we'll explore the magnificent bamboo forest of Mu Cang Chai. This breathtaking location provides the perfect opportunity to take a walk in a unique environment and finding opportunities for photography. We'll be surrounded by towering bamboo trees, rustling leaves, and the gentle sounds of the forest.

Day 4 - Day 4: Mu Cang Chai & Mam Xoi Viewpoint
With a new day comes new opportunities for photographing this beautiful land. As the sun rises, we'll venture out to capture layers of the rice terraces, encircled by lush landscapes and rolling hills. We will make the most of the morning light to capture great images as the day begins.
After our morning shoot, we’ll move on to another charming village where we’ll have the chance to observe the traditions of the H’Mong people. With their vibrant customs and colorful attire, we'll get to learn more about the people that make up this country and their way of life.
As the afternoon progresses, we will head to the top of a high hill where we'll capture the beauty of the rice terraces as the sun sets, casting its golden light over the rolling hills and verdant landscapes below. We'll have a satisfying dinner before heading to the Mam Xoi viewpoint. Far a way from any light pollution, we'll have a great chance to capture the magnificent beauty of the Milky Way rising over the iconic rice paddies of Mu Cang Chai.

Day 5 - Day 5: Hanoi & Doung Lam Village
We'll wake up early and get ready to leave Mu Cang Chai as we'll head back to the capital. With memories of the magnificent rice terraces, the friendly H’Mong people, and the breathtaking beauty of the region, we bid farewell to this peaceful valley. As we travel back to Hanoi, we’ll have time to reflect on our experiences and look over all our amazing photos.
We'll arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon and head to the ancient village of Duong Lam, which is rich in history and is considered a living museum, and was the home of two early Vietnamese kings in the 10th century. This enchanting village offers a glimpse into the past with its well-preserved architecture and timeless traditions. Our afternoon will be spent capturing the beauty of this historic location, where we'll aim to capture its timeless spirit and the friendly character of its inhabitants. Prepare to create stunning and meaningful images as we delve into the rich history and culture of Vietnam.

Day 6 - Day 6: Hung Yen Province
On day 6, our first stop will be a district within Hanoi, where artisans have been hand-crafting incense sticks for generations. This location is known for its vibrant colors and lively atmosphere, great for snapping that perfect moment. You can choose to use either your camera or drone to capture a top bird's-eye view of this dynamic scene of the colorful incense market and traditional houses.
In the afternoon, we will visit the traditional fishing village in Hung Yen province, where we will have the opportunity to observe and capture the timeless art of fishing with bamboo baskets. This tranquil village is nestled amidst rolling hills and offers a glimpse into a way of life that has remained largely unchanged for centuries.
As we explore this charming village, we'll capture award-winning images that demonstrate the essence of this timeless community and the traditional practices that have sustained it for generations. After a day filled with wonder and discovery, we'll return to our hotel in Hanoi feeling revitalized and ready to continue our journey through the heart of Vietnam.

Day 7 - Day 7 : Perfume River and the Fishermen of Hue
At dawn, we board a flight to Hue, kicking off a day of adventure and exploration. Upon arrival, we're immediately captivated by the bustling streets and charming architecture that define this unique destination. In the afternoon, we set out on a photo tour that's sure to leave a lasting impression.
Our photo tour in Hue begins with a visit to the Perfume River, where we are greeted by a stunning sight. The sunlight dances on the water, reflecting the vibrant hues of the city while floating candles add a touch of enchantment to the scene. This tranquil view presents the perfect opportunity to capture the essence of Hue through our lenses.
Next, we witness the dexterity of the native fishermen as they throw their nets and gather the catch of the day. We'll have our cameras ready to capture the genuine spirit of this dynamic city and its long-held customs. The itinerary for this photo tour is carefully crafted to highlight what makes Hue such an unforgettable place.

Day 8 - Day 8: Imperial City of Hue & Hoi An
We start the day with an adventure as we explore The Imperial City of Hue, a UNESCO heritage site filled with rich history. Later on, we'll have the opportunity to photograph beautiful scenes with Vietnamese girls dressed in traditional attire, displaying the heritage of this region.
After a morning of capturing the essence of Hue, we embark on a scenic journey to Hoi An, located in the Quang Nam province. The city greets us with its charming streets, historic buildings, and picturesque landscapes. Hoi An is also a UNESCO heritage site and we'll stay there all afternoon, capturing wonderful moments and soaking in the experience.
As the sun is setting, we make our way to the night market in Hoi An, a truly enchanting place that is bursting with the sounds, smells, and sights of the local culture. We stroll along the bustling streets capturing the essence of this captivating city at night.

Day 9 - Day 9: Son Tra Peninsula & Ba Na Hills
Early in the morning, we observe the skilled hands of the local fishermen as they cast their huge nets, a timeless and beautiful representation of the culture of the region.
Afterward, we will have a portrait session with a remarkable old lady, who is known as "the most beautiful elder of Vietnam." Her elegance and loveliness embody the spirit of the country, and her story deserves to be captured and shared.
As the day progresses, we'll depart from the charming city of Hoi An and head to the amazing Son Tra peninsula, where we'll have the chance to photograph the red-shanked douc, a remarkable Old World monkey with distinct colorful fur. This magnificent creature in its natural habitat provides us with the opportunity for some wonderful wildlife photography.
We'll end the day at a luxurious hotel on top of Ba Na Hills, a breathtaking location surrounded by lush hills and stunning vistas. As we settle in for the night, we'll take time to relax in a beautiful environment, enjoy the local cuisine and compare the amazing photos we've taken along the way.

Day 10 - Day 10: The Golden Bridge
On October 2nd, we kick off our last day with an exhilarating trip to one of Vietnam's most awe-inspiring travel destinations: The Golden Bridge. This magnificent landmark is an engineering marvel that towers above the verdant hills, affording unparalleled views of the surrounding landscape. The bridge is truly a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of structural engineering.
As the afternoon approaches, it's time to say farewell and begin our journey back to Da Nang International Airport, where our tour comes to an end. Although it's difficult to leave after such an eventful journey, we will leave with a collection of photographs that capture the beauty, history, and culture of Vietnam, and a sense of wonder and gratitude for all that we have seen and experienced. From the incredible Golden Bridge to the breathtaking landscapes and culture of this magnificent country, every step of the way has been a journey of wonder and beauty. We will offer flight recommendations for our travelers to make sure the journey home will be easy and simple.
