Description

Namibia, Africa's captivating gem, is the backdrop of some of the continent's most awe-inspiring landscapes, ranging from desolate salt pans and remote crimson deserts to thriving savannahs teeming with wildlife. Our specialized photography tour offers you the exclusive opportunity to encapsulate Namibia's unspoiled wonders through your lens, providing an indelible collection of photographic memories. With our seasoned photography experts at your disposal, we assure an unparalleled photographic exploration of Namibia's exceptional landscapes.

Venturing to Africa's southernmost tip, this photography expedition will lead you deep into the heart of the Namibian Desert. You'll stand amid resilient, ancient trees that have weathered a millennium, the silent testament of nature's enduring spirit. You will wander through the remnants of a mining town once flourishing, now succumbing to the encroaching sands of time. Additionally, you'll find yourself immersed in one of the world's most revered natural parks.

Bear in mind that our itinerary remains somewhat adaptable, adjusting for optimal weather conditions to provide you with the best possible photographic opportunities. Below, we highlight a few of the magnificent locales you'll immortalize through your camera.

Tour Highlights:

Quiver Tree Forest:

Not trees but oversized plants, Quiver 'Trees' provide an extraordinary silhouette, forming compelling subjects. Situated conveniently close to our lodging, we will have ample time to explore and capture this intriguing forest.

Kolmanskop:

Once a bustling hub during one of the largest diamond rushes in history, Kolmanskop now stands as a spectral monument, swallowed by the desert's sands. As a group, we have secured a special photographic permit, granting us access outside regular visiting hours, offering you the unique opportunity to document this frozen-in-time town.

Sossusvlei:

Nestled within the Namib Naukluft National Park, the Tsauchab Dune Valley houses the hypnotic salt pans of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Once a river channel seeking the Atlantic Ocean, it fell short, creating an extraordinary wetland amidst Earth's tallest sand dunes. The stark plains of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei present an abundance of photographic wonders, with skeletal trees piercing the horizon, creating an uncanny juxtaposition against the infinite horizon.

Your journey through Namibia's photographic delights awaits, promising a gallery of memories and an enriching photographic learning experience.

Please note that our tour itinerary is flexible and may be adjusted according to prevailing weather conditions. We aim to provide the best possible experience, so alterations may be made to ensure the most advantageous use of our scheduled tour time
