Description

Photograph some of Iceland’s most iconic sites with this private Golden Circle photo tour. Capture the moment the hot spring Strokkur erupts at Geysir geothermal area, the plunging glacial water at Gullfoss waterfall, and the rugged beauty of Þingvellir National Park with the help of a professional photoguide.

This photo tour gives you the fantastic opportunity to work with an award-winning photographer in a private setting. Whether you are travelling solo or with family and friends, you'll have the chance to hone your skills as you explore the Golden Circle with a professional photo guide with you every step of the way.

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up by your photo guide from Reykjavík. You'll then travel to your first destination, Þingvellir National Park. There, you'll be able to witness the continental drift between the North American and Eurasian plates. You will also be able to photograph the cracks and faults that traverse the Þingvellir region. Other highlights include the beauty and tranquillity of lake Þingvallavatn, as well as the small but charming Öxarárfoss waterfall.

Next, you will visit the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall, which can be photographed from various points of view. Gullfoss produces a massive amount of water that plunges down into an ancient canyon, spraying mist in all directions. It's an impressive sight which makes for extraordinary photographs.

Thereafter, you will visit the Geysir area where the geothermal activity has dyed the earth in otherworldly colours. The erupting geyser, Strokkur, will test your photography skills as it spouts water 15-20 metres in the air every 5-10 minutes.

The last stop will be the colourful volcanic crater, Kerið. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to photograph the dramatic and contrasting colours in the area. The blue water looks fantastic against the red volcanic rocks and the green moss found there in the summertime.

Pick up your camera and head out into the stunning Icelandic nature to capture some of the country’s most beloved sights with this private photo tour of the Golden Circle. Check availability by choosing a date.
