Dubai and Abu Dhabi Photography Workshop

There is the opportunity to align the crescent moon behind the Burj Khalifa and we will learn how to plan and photograph a moon compression shot. Sunrise will be from the terrace of our hotel with one of Dubai’s most iconic views - cross our fingers for the fog to arrive for one of the best locations to photograph this event. We will then transfer to Old Dubai, exploring the laneways of the souk and the action of Dubai creek.

Our sunset photography session will be from the hotel terrace with the opportunity to perfect our cityscape photography techniques.

After breakfast we will head to Dubai’s best photography studio for one of the most exciting photography shoots - this session will introduce new technique for capturing dynamic studio portraits.

Our sunset location looking over Dubai marina is the perfect place to practice some long exposure light trails as the colourful boats make their way around.

The morning will be spent at one of the world’s most beautiful buildings - Museum Of The Future. Our private access will allow you to explore the truly unique architecture.

After a relaxing lunch, we'll make our way to Abu Dhabi for what promises to be one of the highlights of the tour. As the sun begins to descend, we'll take up position at a carefully selected vantage point offering a breathtaking view of the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — one of the most photographed and visually stunning landmarks in the world. The golden hour light casts a magical glow over the mosque's pristine white domes and intricate architecture, creating the perfect conditions for truly spectacular images. We'll have plenty of time to explore different compositions and angles, capturing the grandeur of this magnificent structure as the sky transforms into a canvas of warm, rich colours.

Our morning will be spent with private access to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a truly special experience and full of incredible photography moments as the morning light bathes the mosque in warm, golden tones.

After that, we head into the desert and some of the world’s most impressive sand dunes. Here we spend the afternoon photographing the dunes with some local friends.

Today we spend another full day among the dunes, immersing ourselves in one of nature's most dramatic and ever-changing landscapes. As the light shifts throughout the day, so do the opportunities — from the soft golden glow of the early morning sunrise casting long shadows across the sand, to the rich warm tones of sunset that bring the dunes to life in vivid colour. We'll explore different vantage points and experiment with a variety of compositions, playing with the natural lines, curves and textures that make the desert such a rewarding subject to photograph.

As the tour officially concludes in Abu Dhabi, you'll head home not only with an SD card full of stunning images, but with a deeper understanding of your craft and memories that will last a lifetime.
