Situated far above the Arctic Circle, this beautiful island is a paradise for landscape photographers, where jaw-dropping scenery shines beneath the glory of the Midnight Sun during the summer season. The long days make it the perfect place for hiking and with so much to see, there is no other way to unearth the treasures of Senja than when exploring by foot.
Be prepared to traverse magical mountain ridges, separated by the deep, turquoise water of the fjords. At every turn, you'll be met by the sprawling coastline and dramatic, rugged views like something out of a fairytale. You'll spend your days capturing the pristine beaches, spectacular mountains and jawdropping cliffs falling straight into the ocean below.
During this adventure, we'll be camping in the most incredible locations discovered by world-renowned photographers, Daniel Kordan and Max Rive. On our final day, we'll be offering a post-processing masterclass, where you'll learn everything you need to know about location scouting, composition and the secrets of producing photographs just like Daniel and Max.
The weather conditions on Senja island are dynamic, so you can bet that we'll be facing wind, rain, storms and sunshine, all of which can be a recipe for mindblowing light. As such, the itinerary will be flexible, to ensure that you'll be able to make the most of what nature has in store for you.
